Same job, different colours
Edale’s “On-the-Fly” technology enables colour changes to be made on redundant print stations whilst the machine is in production. The technology significantly increases productivity and eliminates wasted time when setting up the next job. A dramatic reduction in waste enables the printer to fully utilise the press.
Example: An 8 colour machine is running 2 x 4 colour jobs. The press is running 1 x 4 colour (CMYK) job in decks 1-4. Meanwhile, decks 5-8 are going unused and can be pre-set for the second job, while still running production for the first job. Plates, Anilox rollers and inking can all be prepared and put into the redundant decks so that the change is almost immediate.
