Lambda 'plug and play' Infinitely Flexible Converting Machine
The Lambda is a truly flexible converting and printing solution. Designed with complete "reconfigurability" in mind, the Lambda, in summary, can be configured to any single or multiple web paths imaginable.
The basic building block of the Lambda is a standard base unit, with backing plate, on to
which various converting and print modules can be positioned. Each base unit can take up to four different modules and five different dual function unwind/rewinds. Depending on the complexity of the required job, the Lambda can have as many base units fitted inline as necessary.
Each module is positioned on a sliding platform on the base unit. The modules can be easily moved along the unit, or lifted out and then back in to a different location.
Once the desired configuration has been achieved the modules can be "fine tuned" in order to achieve their optimum position before being locked in place. The winder modules have eight possible positions on each base unit, allowing for up to five winders to be used at once.
The Lambda concept enables converters to choose their own optimum machine configuration without increasing additional, unnecessary investment costs for design and one off production.

Combined with the renowned Tamarack P500 RFID technology, this inlay affixing machine provides a cost effective and entirely adaptable solution.
Multi-wide insertion options are available and future upgrades are easy through the incorporation of additional converting, printing or laminating modules to suit alternative value added applications.
