Edale is based in Hampshire, in the South of England. Having been involved in the design and manufacture of narrow web flexographic presses since the 1950s, Edale has seen and indeed contributed towards - many changes in the industry.
In recent years, the management team has responded to changes in the worldwide market. Although still the UK market leader in flexographic printing, the company now sees itself as a reservoir of expertise in narrow web transport and has diversified into many different markets. With its entire current range of machines having been introduced since 2000, Edale is truly a twenty-first century company.
The company’s philosophy has always been - and will continue to be - to respond swiftly to the demands of its customers. All models are designed to be particularly user-friendly, with accessibility being a major criterion. By providing innovative and profitable solutions to customers’ needs, Edale is able to keep them ahead of their competitors at the same time as maintaining its own lead over other manufacturers.
While Edale is justifiably proud of its record of innovation and development, the company does not believe in selling printers complicated features that they neither want nor need. Accordingly, each machine is custom-built to the individual customer's requirements, whether by incorporating options and modifications to existing models or by developing an entirely bespoke machine. All the ranges are designed and built to be upgradeable should the user need additional features in the future. The only things you can be sure of finding in an Edale machine are efficiency and reliability.
